About MoRP
The Missouri River Paddlers was created by expedition paddler, historian, writer and photographer Norman Miller. Miller paddled the Missouri river in 2004 during the Lewis & Clark bicentennial. His collection of information led to the creation of the Missouri River Paddlers (MoRP) group on Facebook. The MoRP has grown to over 4100-members worldwide. Many members have paddled the Missouri river in its entirety. Many members have been credited with 1st descents from the utmost Source at Brower's Spring, in the Centennial mountains of Montana. This website contains an extensive amount of information from those who have canoed, kayaked and SUP'd the Muddy Mo. The information here will aid in your plans, answer important questions, and add confidence and support through the information and connections made with past expedition paddlers who have completed a descent of the river.
