Dakota Waters Resort: Owner Amber Kimball and crew have been very helpful to long distance paddlers on Lake Sakakawea in North Dakota. They are located in Beulah Bay about a day's paddle distance to the dam. Reach out to Amber before your trip if you have any questions. Kansas City Kayak & Canoe: Owner Tom Bailey has been assisting paddlers in the KC area for nearly a decade. He has also helped out long distance paddlers when they reach KC. Reach out to KCKC for canoe and kayak rentals or river support. Tom kayaked the Missouri river from Three Forks, Montana to the Gulf of Mexico in 2009 and is a wealth of information. Coopers Landing and Riverside Resort- Mile 180: Coopers Landing was voted "Best Bar on the Entire Missouri River", at the 2015 MoRP Rendezvous. This is a must-stop paddle destination. If you are a long distance paddler and arriving here, they offer camping, showers, cold beer, BBQ and Thai Food and weekend live-music. Paddle Stop New Haven: Shawn Camdem is the founder of PSNH and Timber Longboard Company in New Haven, Missouri. Paddle Stop New Haven has offered help and support for many paddlers. They are a must stop when reaching New Haven. Shawn can help out with a lot of your questions and logistical needs.

Spirit Hill Guest House- Hermann, Mo: Gary Leabman & Marsha Nyberg have one of the most beautiful guest houses on the banks of the Missouri river. Astral Glass Blowing Studio. Gary Rice and Lance Robert are the owners of this fantastic shop. They are also Mo River Paddlers having paddled from Montana to S. Dakota a few years ago. The studio is a block up from the river. Long distance paddlers paddling the entire river are encouraged to stop and blow a ball ornament and sign their paddlers wall. Keep the tradition alive!
